Our weather checking is done by rapidly accelerating the temperature of the lacquer.
By rapidly decreasing the temperature of the lacquer and then bringing it back , The lacquer checks like the original 50's guitars.
This happened to several of my guitars once when i crated them up to be shipped to Finland in October , i was quite pleased overall but lucky nothing bad happened to them . I'm not joking everything was checked .
